Summary:
:
Carry out the mission of SOP Recovery to help individuals that are struggling with substance use disorder take control of their lives.
To assist clients to gain insight into their behavior, recognize the impact that addiction has had on others, and to learn skills needed to empower clients to lead sober lives.
In addition, the Administrative Assistant will work in collaboration with supervisors, clinicians, case managers, RAs, and other team members to ensure continuity of care.
o The following specific duties will be expected:
o Responsible for intake process for new client Completes Phone screenings and Medicaid eligibility.
Tracking bed availability and completions Assist in maintaining schedules with all involved staff Assists director and clinical staff in daily operations Manage prior authorization and MCO communication Receptionist duties Adequate documentation for OHBIS reporting Ensure OMHAS waiting list is completed monthly Assists in administrative paperwork for all staff Other duties assigned by supervisor TYPICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:
Full Time.
Monday through Friday 8am to 4:
00pm.
Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required.
Travel may be required.
Exposure to communicable diseases and bloodborne pathogens are possible in all residential and outpatient settings - the staff will stay informed on ways to reduce the spread of disease and follow safety precautions to ensure the safety of themselves and others.

TRAINING / EDUCATION:
The Administrative Assistant will participate in workshops, meetings, and other training that will further serve to benefit the clients, agency, and personal development.
Participate in agency training.
EVALUATION:
Potential candidates for the position will be evaluated on the following.
o Quality of duties - Administrative Assistant will ensure that professional, administrative and office duties are high quality to represent the agency expectations.
o Productivity Evaluation - the Administrative Assistant will ensure that reports, tracking, and other monitoring systems assigned are done so in an efficient manner.
o Professional functioning - the Administrative Assistant will maintain professionalism.
Failure to adhere to the code of ethics may result in immediate termination, and the offense will be reported to the board.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS and competencies:
Must have a minimum of a High School diploma or the equivalent.
The employee must meet screening requirements, which include a Criminal Background check and urinary drug screen.
Must have a valid driver's license and appropriate automobile insurance.
Must have familiarity with the needs of the target population and prefer experience working with individuals diagnosed with substance use disorders and other mental health conditions that may be secondary to addiction.
Must be trained in CPR and basic first aid within the first 30 days of employment.
Must complete all compliance training in Relias within the first 30 days of employment.
Must follow the code of ethics and the requirements of all regulatory boards.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Time-Management and Organizational Skills:
be able to run reports, maintain assigned spreadsheets and be efficient with your time.
Problem-Solving Skills:
This is a fast-paced work environment, and you may be needed help find solutions to problems.
You will need to think critically and clearly about situations to find solutions.
Strong oral communication skills required to effectively communicate with a broad range of individuals and/or other agencies.
Strong written communications skills required to maintain quality documentation.
Must display professionalism and leadership qualities.
Knowledge and respect of all confidentiality issues.
Able to lift 20 pounds and to perform basic office tasks (with or without assistance).
Prolong standing, sitting, and walking Driving (may be required to transport client, materials, or perform errands as a part of routine work assignments).
Computer software skills.
